Analysis: Foul trouble conspired to hold Davis under 20 points for the third time in four games, a mild slump by his standards. The dominant forward is still stuffing the stat sheet in plenty of secondary categories, though. He's recorded two or more steals in four straight games and is averaging 2.4 blocks over his past seven.

Since returning from a one-game sitdown due to a minor knee injury, the Pelicans' franchise forward is averaging a sensational 30.8 points, 11.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 blocks over a four-game run.

Analysis: Few have had better opening weeks of the 2017-18 season than Davis, who's averaging a terrific 31.7 points, 17.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks through the Pelicans' first three games. The superstar forward has corralled at least 17 boards in each of those contests and is starting to expand his game beyond the 3-point line as well, as he's knocked down 5 of 11 trey attempts thus far.

Analysis: As long as he stays healthy, Davis is going to be a fantasy star this season. He played a career high 75 games last season, averaging career highs of 28 points and 11.8 rebounds.
